IMC Group Consulting Limited (now DMT Consulting Limited), as a company that gave an impetus to development of mining consulting, started its business in 1947. IMC history is associated with development of the coal industry in the UK, and later of a range of almost all solid minerals worldwide. One more major international group WYG Plc. was set up in 1970 as a company specialising in socioeconomic and infrastructure projects.
